Magic Watercolor Background Remover

Tired of spending hours removing the background on your watercolor scans? Me too! That is why I created the Magic Watercolor Background Remover. This is a Adobe Photoshop script that will remove the background from your watercolor scans in seconds (It took 2 minutes to remove the background of 131 files). 

How it works

1. Save the script file according to the instructions provided

2. Open Adobe Photoshop

3. Go to File>Scripts>Magic Watercolor Background Remover

4. You will be prompted to select the folder where your scans are saved

5. Then you will be prompted to select the folder where you want your cleaned up files saved

6. Go grab some coffee and come back to see your clean files!

--- Tips for best results:

- Very washed out watercolors will not work well - this works better with paintings with some contrast

- Having some unpainted paper on the top left corner of your image will yield the best results (that is where the script is sampling colors)
